WE ARE THE CHILDREN

This two hour prime-time ABC movie of the week produced in 1987, stars Ally Sheedy ("The Breakfast Club, St. Elmos Fire") and Ted Danson ("Becker," "Cheers.") Directed by Robert M. Young, the story traces two Americans, an idealistic young doctor and a brash television journalist, whose lives are intertwined and transformed by the 1984 famine in Ethiopia.
