Insight Returns!

Our 50th Anniversary is the perfect time to bring Insight back to television! Fundraising efforts are underway to underwrite a retrospective of this award winning series and its creator, Fr. Bud Kieser. We believe that this documentary will create enthusiasm and support for a new version of the series that will explore the human issues of today.

 

About the Insight Series

 

Beginning in the 1960s, Paulist Productions produced the Emmy award winning Insight series, a collection of 250 half-hour dramas illuminating the contemporary search for meaning, freedom and love. The series uses many different story telling forms - comedy, melodrama and fantasy - to explore in depth the moral dilemmas faced by men and women.

 

The series has starred many of the finest talents in Hollywood: Martin Sheen, Carol Burnett, Walter Matthau, Ed Asner, Jack Klugman, Bob Newhart, Ron Howard, Cindy Williams, Gene Hackman, Emilio Estevez, and Tim Matheson.
