Narrated by Martin Sheen, this modern day exploration of the life of St. Paul and its meaning also features the voices of veteran actors Joseph Campanella and James Farentino.

Filmed in Turkey, Greece, Israel and Rome, this visually exciting program features never before seen film of an ancient mural that was recently discovered in a Turkish cave near Ephesus depicting St. Paul and his female disciple Thecla.

"The Apostle Paul" tells the story of St. Paul with the help of several biblical experts including Dr. Ben Witherington III, Professor of New Testament at Asbury Theological Seminary and author of "The Paul Quest", Dr. Christine M. Thomas, Assistant Professor Department of Religious Studies at the University of California at Santa Barbara, Dr. Anthony J. Tambasco, Professor of Theology at Georgetown University and Rev. Lawrence Boadt, C.S.P. Professor Emeritus of Biblical Studies at the Washington Theological Union and Publisher of  Paulist Press.
